Michael Montella, Co-President
Michael Montella is a junior in Eliot House, originally from New Jersey, pursuing the honors track in Government with a secondary field in Economics. He has spent his past three summers learning language and culture in Spain, studying aesthetic philosophy in Italy and most recently interning in Ghana. Michael has also used his winter breaks to gain experience in the public and non-profit sectors; over these breaks, he’s worked with an education non-profit, his Congressman (NJ-05), and U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren’s campaign in Iowa.
Michael started his involvement with HUBBS as the Vice President of Media and Retail in fall 2017, and he is now beginning his second term as the organization’s Co-President.
Oliver Erle, Co-President
Oliver is a junior in Eliot House studying Economics and Psychology. He is originally from New York, NY. This summer, he will be interning in Goldman Sachs’ Investment Banking Division. Oliver has a longstanding passion for theater, and he serves as a member of the Business Staff of the Hasty Pudding Theatricals, Harvard’s oldest theater company. In his spare time, Oliver enjoys writing music and volunteering through the Phillips Brooks House Association.
Olivia Gopnik, Vice President of Consulting
Olivia is a sophomore at Harvard planning on concentrating in Social Studies. She was born in France, but grew up in New York City. Outside of HUBBS, she writes for the magazine of the Harvard Crimson, works for an undergraduate political consulting group, and is a member of Harvard Model Congress. This past summer, Olivia co-founded a food startup with a fellow Harvard sophomore.
Tyler Sanok, Vice President of Technology
Originally from Washington D.C., Tyler Sanok is a sophomore in Pforzheimer House. He concentrates in Applied Mathematics, focused in Engineering, with a secondary in Economics. On campus, he is an executive board member of MakeHarvard, a Harvard Campus Tour Guide, a Writing Center Tutor, and a member of the Harvard Financial Analyst Club. Last summer, he conducted research on solar cells and seawater batteries, and this summer, he will be interning as an analyst for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. In his free time, Tyler enjoys swimming, exploring Boston, and watching Schitt’s Creek.
Adrian Hackney, Vice President of Media and Retail
Adrian Hackney is a first-year in Thayer Hall from Milton, Massachusetts. He plans to concentrate in Economics with a secondary in Environmental Science and Public Policy. On campus, he is an Analyst for Consulting on Business and the Environment and a Finance Associate for the Economics Association. In high school, he spent his summers working to empower youth through education and visual arts. In his free time, he enjoys exploring art and fashion.
Isabel Levin, Director of Membership
Isabel Levin is a sophomore in Currier House concentrating in Social Studies. Interested in the intersection between business, national security and human rights, Isabel is a Radcliffe Fellow under Dr. Hovelmeier studying homophobia in Africa and a research assistant to Professor Kertzer looking at group decision making in the US National Security Council in addition to serving on the HUBBS board. In her spare time, Isabel performs stand-up comedy and plays blues harmonica.
Quinn Lewis, Director of Community Engagement
Raised in Berkeley, CA, Quinn Lewis is a sophomore in Currier House concentrating in Government. Last summer, Quinn worked as an intern in journalism for a podcast and broadcast called Reveal, from the Center for Investigative Reporting. On campus, Quinn is a member of the Women’s Initiative in Leadership at the Institute of Politics, a Hip Hop DJ for Harvard’s radio station WHRB 95.3fm, a weekly tutor for the Harvard Organization for Prison Education (HOPE), and the Chair of Programming for the first Student Climate Conference at Harvard University, among other activities. Quinn is especially passionate about stemming the climate crisis, addressing institutionalized inequality, and using storytelling as a tool for change. In her free time, Quinn enjoys listening to podcasts like Pod Save America and The Dropout, watching Fleabag, and thinking about going to the gym more.
Parker Mas, Director of Design and Communications
Parker Mas is a First-Year in Greenough Hall planning a concentration in Government. Originally from Western Massachusetts, he is a teacher for the Institute of Politics CIVICS program and involved with Harvard Model U.N. as a staffer. In his spare time, Parker enjoys going to concerts, reading fiction, and running.
Alejandro Budejen Jerez, Treasurer
Alejandro Budejen Jerez is a junior from Philadelphia concentrating in Economics with a secondary in Psychology. He spent last summer working with the HBS Latin America Research Center in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In his free time, he enjoys watching horror films, listening to indie music, and growing his collection of art prints.
