Michael Montella, originally from New Jersey, is a sophomore in Eliot House, concentrating in Government with a secondary field in Economics. Last summer, Michael studied in Milan and Siena, and he hopes to have the opportunity to work abroad this summer. He is particularly passionate about democratization, sustainable development, and American Politics. On campus, in addition to being co-president of HUBBS, Michael is an analyst for the Harvard College Consulting Group, staff writer for the Harvard Political Review, tutor for the Harvard Program on International Education, and member of the Campaigns and Advocacy Program at the Institute of Politics. This spring, Michael is also conducting research alongside Professor Enos in the Government Department, observing how geography impacts social and political values. In his free time, Michael likes to work out, snowboard, listen to podcasts and watch Game of Thrones.
